A new report from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities recommends temporarily making the CTC fully refundable t and increasing the value of the EITC for workers without dependent children. Expansions could benefit an estimated 10.4 million rural residents. These provisions were both included in the U.S. House of Representatives’ recently passed Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions (HEROES) Act.
